Creating Stories

  • Images: up to 1 GB each
  • Videos: under 2 GB, ≤ configured maximum duration (default 90s)
  • Up to 10 media files per Story batch (all publish together as sequential individual Stories)
  • Single creation batch = ordered Story sequence for narrative impact
Drag to reorder before publishing / scheduling. Use sequencing for: event recaps, multi-step tutorials, campaign countdowns.
  • Earliest schedule time: ≥ 1 hour from now
  • Latest schedule time: up to 30 days ahead
  • All items in the batch follow the same release time and then display in the order configured
Console preview approximates in‑app experience (device variances may apply). Validate crop, readability, caption relevance, and link integrity before finalizing.
Reordering and link edits are only possible before publishing or while the batch is still in Scheduled status.

Story Status Lifecycle

  • Active
  • Expired
  • Scheduled
Currently visible Stories within their active duration window.
The count displayed on a community’s Stories card reflects Active + Expired only (excludes Scheduled and Deleted).

Viewing Stories

Within Active & Expired tabs you can:
  • View media (image / video)
  • Access hyperlinks
  • Check comment count (and flagged comment count if applicable)
  • View reactions count
  • Moderate (delete, clear flags)
Scheduled tab displays:
  • Upcoming batches sorted by scheduled date (latest first)
  • Hyperlinks configured per Story item
  • Delete option (removes entire scheduled batch)
Deleted Stories are not viewable in Console once removed. Confirm before deletion.

Moderation Actions

  • Delete Story
  • Clear Flags
  • Scheduled Cleanup
Remove inappropriate or outdated Story items. Action is immediate and irreversible.

Operational Best Practices

  • Batch related content for cohesive storytelling.
  • Schedule during high engagement windows (analyze past peak hours).
  • Limit daily volume to avoid fatigue.
  • Maintain consistent aspect ratios & branding.
  • Ensure text overlays remain legible (contrast, safe margins).
  • Keep videos concise and purposeful.
  • Review flagged Stories promptly (ideally within SLA window).
  • Use whitelisted links only; remove any violating destinations.
  • Document deletion rationale for sensitive content categories.
  • Track reactions & comment patterns to refine timing & style.
  • Use links sparingly for high-intent actions (avoid dilution).
  • Sequence multi-part content with clear narrative arcs.
